I happened to watch it last week. Never really been into it even though I lived 10 mins from Arena Essex as a kid and could hear the bikes. Chuffin great! Really enjoyed it.
Absolute joy in the summer when you get either wsb or moto gp, then bsb and then the speedway in the evening on the same weekend
Thank god I didn’t waste a single minute of my time on any of that batshit boring bollocks this weekend. Will catch up with the lower classes tmrw although I’ve just seen the moto 2 result. What the actual fuck was Dixon and his team up to this weekend and what is it lately with Brit riders getting shafted by incompetent team management? Oh and for the love of god it’s not clever dove tailing with Salac and neither has it worked properly when it counts all season. Give it a rest.
I assume you didn't watch as the first half of the GP was really exciting. Some super aggressive passes when Peccos bike was still under him, and he looked really comfortable. Unfortunately, when the grip went away Pecco's looked like a handful under the brakes and couldn't hold on.
MM is different class. It’s already been said , he isn’t going to slow down for the pack to catch up. What he did in the Sprint shows whatever the situation he can pull off a win unless he throws it down the road. I’d rather see close racing week in and week out too , but it’s out of our hands. Enjoy it for what it is and stop complaining. At the end of the day nobody else will give a shiny shite if you watch it or not tbh
I enjoyed Moto3 and Moto2 races, haven't watched the big class yet though I see it was a similar order to normal with the usual 1-2 second gap between each at the end. My favourite bit of action was probably Aron Canet resisting a Diogo Moreira pass at the end of the Moto2 race.
Obviously I don’t know Pecco but he certainly comes across as a decent bloke and who wouldn’t wish him well? But he ain’t a patch on his teammate when the visor goes down. MM will not be denied. Too determined, too aggressive and just too darn good. I had a feeling MM would win at Mugello for the first time in 11 years when the fans booed him after the sprint race. Annoyed Marquez anyone? Just ask Rossi.
Its proper racing - not the modern "everyone must have prizes" version of racing. I really feel for Pecco. He has to go back to his garage and face his team and everyone after being very publicly beaten by the Marquez brothers. It is tough being beaten like that in public, with nowhere to hide. I fully expect Marc Marquez to be fastest qualifying, pole position and to win every race by a second and a half - fair enough he is in another league and he deserves his victories. Personally I like to see Pecco's small victories - staying on the bike and coming in third, or beating Alex Marquez - and going back to the garage after some success. Also worth watching is the successes of other riders.
A great race. Three brilliant, at their peak, riders giving it absolutely everything. Marc has come a long way. And before anyone says it was better in the old days, here's proof https://www.facebook.com/reel/1228955901468574
Just watched the moto 3 race. As good as it gets. The Pini crash was one of the biggest near misses I’ve ver seen in my life and I think I’m finally sold that Ogden isn’t even in wee Mcphee class. Everything we want to see watching the bikes though.
