1200 I Can't Connect It No Matter What

  1. I'm trying to connect Melcodiag or Jpdiag or Iawdiag to my multi 1200s year 2010 but I'm not having any luck.
Under the seat I have 3 cables.
a 4 pin one with no label.
a 2 pin one which says Melco.
a 3 pin one which says ABS.

now if I connect the chip elm327 to the 4 pin one with the adapter, and use Mlecodiag and select M3C,M3D (1100,696,800...) it connects. sometimes it shows me the ecu number and sometimes it doesn't. I am able to reset the service light but nothing else works. If i turn on the engine (cause the ignition is already on), nothing happens in the active or passive test. I then tried jpdiag and it wont connect at all.
then I've used a different chip FTDI323. with an adapter for the 3 pin plug. still can't connect. either Melco or JP won't connect. I've also checked the voltage of the cable and the continuity with a multi meter and it's all fine.
My bike should have a Mitsubishi ECU from what I understand.
I've checked the com ports, changed the baud rates, installed the drivers from FTDI.
what I'm trying to achieve is to do some CO trimming to reduce the backfiring on deceleration of the bike.

In the picture is what I get with Melcodiag on the 4 pin cable.
    Any input is appreciated.
    regards
    Mike
