Interesting Prices At A Recent Auction

  1. Hello @ducv2, would you consider providing the auction details where the bikes in your first post were sold?
I might recognise the MHR with some additional photograph angles.
    Regards,
    Tom.

  2. Many thanks for the information.
The frame number is close to a bike I owned, and a number of other parts are of the same type, but its not the same bike.
I agree with Andy Bee's post #18, such a shame about the cut-away side panel, they're probably impossible to get hold of now, and that looks difficult to restore.
    Thanks again.
    Tom.

  3. FYI - I found the auction listing by downloading the image and doing a google image search on it.

  4. Funnily enough I was looking at RD400’s today. Saw a beautiful white one up at £20k!! I do love them but errrr, not that much…

  5. That's definitely cloud cuckoo land

  6. Big agree. I’m looking at Valais Blacknose sheep, habitually expensive, vendors dropping prices and waiting weeks to sell. Ewes previously £1500-2000, now £1K

  7. Good. I would hope so. Maybe the seller thinks we’re still in lockdown :D

  8. An rd400 will never be worth 20k. And I'm of an age where they were the dogs danglies.

  9. That's a great example, the puppy market is so lively it's not true.

  10. If you can pass them off as some specialist breed of dog they'll fetch at least two grand.
