Assuming they are the original Ducati cans then this is the method. Remove the bolt that attaches the double clamp from the rear footrest, then undue the clamp that holds both cans together. Remove the springs that hold on the cans to the lower exhaust pipes. Then carefully with a piece of wood tap the silencer off the pipe, use some WD40 or any oils to lubricate the pipe, beware that you cannot twist the cans off because of the small locating pin that the can aligns too. Make sure that you put the pin in the slot on re-assembly .
