I was a passenger in a Jaguar EV thingy last year, the owner tried to show me the 'amazing acceleration' but it was no faster than my petrol-engined car which also has a much higher top speed, if that matters.

I'm not sold on an EV and intend to live out (what's left of) my driving career with petrol power.

 

The electric version is Harley Davidsons fastest model

 

We’re not really setting a particularly high bar there.
