  1. I know a few friends that have given up pet ownership for this very reason, that and the cost of doggy sitters when going on hols.

  3. Big falling out with the king yesterday after he rolled himself head to toe in fox shit (after we’d been for a swim!). We’ve made up today (just) but he still needs to buy me a new bottle of red sauce the smelly little bastid :sob:

Also, what’s the story with the red sauce, please?

  5. Don’t know whether it’s true or not but I was told it’s the only thing you can wash the smell out with so that’s what we use (and it does work) :joy:

  7. Yeah I was told the same, it’s the only thing that works.

  8. The science is that there's enzymes in tomato juice that breaks down the bacteria that cause the smell. TBH...my Jury's out on the effectiveness of Ketchup  The only thing I've used that does work (doesn't mean there aren't others) is this stuff ... Animology Fox Poo Dog Shampoo 250ml : Amazon.co.uk: Pet Supplies

  9. It’s a year ago tomorrow that Kenny “Bobbins” got told he had to have his legs pinned (and I got a twelve and a half grand bill). He’s never been the same but he’s living his best life these days thanks to his marching powder. Haven’t seen the vet since. Twats.

  11. Well today has been a great day…….everybody meet Rodney!!
Hes our latest rescue boy, 3 years old and had a very upsetting reason for rehoming but despite that he’s a lovely happy boy and very well behaved.
    Obviously I love him already.
first picture he’s meeting our old lady Evie and then when he’s finally worn out from playing with Layla.

  12. A fine four square stance on him along with lovely pigmentation & splendid 'lions paw' feet - just needs plenty of miles to wear down those nails.

I reckon he's landed on his feet.

  13. One of the first things I noticed about him is his great stance, he’s from show winning stock apparently. (We collected him from his original breeder)

  14. You can tell - especially from those feet & depth of colour (on both his coat & nails).

Vaseline if his pads get dry.

  19. First big walk out with Rodney, up through the woods and onto the Malverns. He and Layla are like old friends already, it’s lovely to see them together and he has been such a good boy, his recall is great.
