  7. Apparently this is a Camera car used on the Grand Tour etc.
the D3/4 is used a lot for mobile Camera work as the upper tailgate can be lifted and the lower one left up for a little safety.

The upper tailgate glass has been replaced with lighter plastic to help it stay up on the move, and the exhausts are routed that way to help keep exhaust fumes out of the cabin.

I'm a D4 owner, I've had several D3s and 4s, and the DISCO4 Forum is a good source of info like this site.

  11. 20250722_135350.jpg spotted this in downtown Canmore the other day, not sure if it's a shed but it's the first one I've seen in a colour. I assumed that they only came in silver, although if it's aluminium then I guess it can be anodised any colour!

  12. They’re just so bloody awful I can’t believe it went into production and equally I can’t believe anyone buys such an ugly looking thing. Surely you’d feel a right tool driving one.

Saw a few in California but the rest of the states were still in their 4x4 v8’s.

The colour, well, I wouldn’t go for it but hey, I’ve seen worse.
