Thanks, I’ll bear it in mind, looks like it’s not going to be fixed before I head away this week so it’ll give them time to fix it before I get back mid July. If it’s not fixed by then, well I have decisions to make…
Seems like we might be getting somewhere, Dealers just rang, they took the bike out and after 30 miles the lights and faults all came on. Brought it back and they cleared when they switched it off but fortunately this time it’s highlighted an issue from the IMU which is linked to a sensor, so they are going to order a new part and hopefully that might be the issue resolved. Will have to wait a few weeks now to get it back but phew at least they’ve finally managed to get a reading for the fault now… Fingers crossed as I really don’t want to have to discuss them taking it back as I really can’t think of a better bike out there for me at the moment (when it’s fault free lol)…
Update from the Dealer today, they have informed me they have resolved the issue. It was a speed sensor all along, its being changed and the issue has gone away. Picking it up in a week, cant wait and i really hope its now resolved, cant wait to get back on it...
Well, I got the bike back last week but haven't been able to get it out for a good run to test it out following the repair due to impeding house move. Anyway yesterday I managed to get a good 100 mile run out on the bike and no signs of the issue, so relieved it's finally been resolved. Now to find time to fit a new tail tidy and get it fully detailed to make it shine...
