Had a number of friends and family round yesterday for a BBQ, to celebrate my birthday (last week) and my grandsons birthday, he'll be 1 on Tuesday Now all we have to do is clean up the mess
Spent the day on the bike yesterday, it was roasting. Going to my cousins in a bit, for a bbq and drinks in the garden.
Got up early doors for an epic ride into Wales through Staffordshire,Shropshire and then down to merthyr tydfil and then back up to Lake Vyrnwy and home. Just used a sumo device and set it to twisty, hilly and avoid motorways. Took me down a lot of different roads from A to little more very rough singletrack roads. All day behind a little 2 stroke smelling the oil, lovely. 350 miles in the bag it was scorching beyond 13:00 hours. GasGas700 90 miles for 6 ltrs v Aprilia 125 9 litres plus 2 stroke. Both of us breaking in tyres for around the first 30 mile.
Jmt lithium could be dodgy on the zed after 7 years of sterling all year round use... I kinda want a spare anyway... Handy for jumping lithium battery bikes. Ordered a noco. Got one on the sxv (first I've ordered) very impressed.
As if by magic, a bed has appeared in my van, out of a pile of dead trees, alot of screws, some dead horse (glue) a modicum of creativity and a shit load of power tools! Requires some finishing touches and a mattress, but feeling pleased!
Cast off of broken wrist, thank fuck for that....got a velcro jobbie. I ripped the same wrist open 18 years ago and today my assigned Physio was the same guy....he walked through the door..gave him a big smile and said "remember me!!" - he replied... "dont i know you!!!???"

Started work 2hrs early, so finished 2 hrs early A 20 mile cycle , the combines are out in the fields. Cooked a quick curry and rice and the wife had an hour long meeting online so an hour out on my SL as the weather was fine. Now just catching up on knockhill BSB in readiness for a weekend at Brands soon.
Today I have had a colonoscopy. Not fun, but also not actually painful. Who knew that endoscopes come in different sizes, and it may take a couple of goes to find a good fit? Apparently I do not have colon cancer, ulcers, or polyps. In fact nothing worse than some treatable inflammation and minor diverticula. So good news really. Still a bit dopey from the sedation.
