Not sure how much fun you’d have coming back at sachsenring either! Throwing a MGP bike round that pokey little place…
Are we expecting him back in two weeks time with all this kicking off? https://www.crash.net/motogp/featur...ing-jorge-martin-his-aprilia-contract-dispute Could be a bit awkward.
He will be there. Too much to lose if he doesn’t show contractually. On top of Aprilias fast becoming entrenched position on next year. It’s an unedifying mess all round.
I hope he’s got his standard:legal replies memorized for the inordinate amount of shite that’s coming his way. Won’t happen of course but I’d like to see him swap bikes with Pecco next year.
I was reflecting on next year at Ducati. Obviously MM93 is a certainty. I thought his bro would join him to replace Pecco. But. I’m now sure it will remain as is for next year. Baggy and Marquez in the factory team. Why? Politics. Italian rider. Red bike. Replace with another Spaniard. Not going to happen regardless of the total sense from a racing perspective.
I doubt ducati would take Jorge back after last year and throwing his toys out the pram when he didn’t get a factory ride? If they were susceptible to it I doubt passports would come into it , they’ve proved that once already over the last 12 months. Would be a super strong team that’s for sure and Pecco would get some relief away from all the noise with his best mate at Aprilia.
Ruled out of German round and if he’s not fit enough to race in two weeks time I struggle to see how he’d make the Czech round in three weeks time either. https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/1...very-update-jorge-martin-german-motogp-return
I think he’s just gone about it all wrong. His season was over before it started so he may as well have jumped on when ready and seen ‘25 out. His manager/agent would be getting the Spanish Archer if he were me. He’s been badly advised and the bloke has shot his mouth off to the press too. No bueno.
you would have thought he would have learnt by now given the ducati fiasco. he doth talketh too much me thinks.
If Pecco -and everyone else in the world- didn't realise what MM93 was going to do this season, they sure do now. Barring major accident (not always easy) Marquez might do this for another few seasons too.
