Extended Warranty Anyone Bothered

  1. I had the 4 year warranty and heated grips thrown in when I did the deal. Being unable to extend the warranty was the main reason I changed from rsv4 to the panigale.
Had no issues other than odd sticking exhaust valve in 2 years / 9k miles on the pain tho

  2. Having recently purchased a Streetfighter V2, there is still a years Ducati warranty remaining, looking at the options to purchase Ducati extended warranty. It seems it has to be purchased at time of buying the bike new.
Very strange they don't offer extending the warranty before the standard warranty is due to expire. Looking at this thread maybe they do offer something? Funny coming from a BMW they offer extending the warranty, it's almost like they encourage you to extend.
What are peoples recent experiences ?
    Thanks all

  3. My dealer offered extended warranty when we sealed the deal and I took it. So as new.

  4. It’s been like that for at least for the last 7 years. When I bought my Panigale V4 in 2018, I had a limited time to decide on extending the manufacturers’ warranty. When I bought my pre registered Scrambler a couple of months ago, I was told I couldn’t buy the Ever Red extended warranty but I’d be contacted about an extended warranty (from an aftermarket provider) nearer the date of expiry of the manufacturers warranty.
