Couple of films I've watched/endured recently. Heads Of State - Surprisingly decent action comedy/popcorn film with John Cena and Idris Elba. Ballerina, from the John Wick Universe - Way too long, way too shooty stabby, got bored and couldn't see it through to the end. Eden 2024 -Really enjoyed this one, gets a bit Lord of the Flies. Based on true events. The Chosen - A series I've been dipping in and out of for sometime. Detailing the events described in the New Testament, worth a watch.
FUBAR S2. It’s crazy cheesy Arnie stuff, loads of ‘Easter egg’ references. Enjoyable if you don’t question stuff that’s is over the line of ridiculous
Just watched the first part of Live Aid at 40: When Rock & Roll took on the World. Really interesting to see the story behind it from those involved. Found myself warming to Bob Geldof, something I thought I'd never say. Perhaps the most surprising thing was how close to the story the musical Just For One Day is; very little poetic licence involved. If you are a theatre goer I'd highly recommend it.
