Donington / Classic Bike Trackday: Friday 1st August... Anyone Going?

  1. My fingers are crossed that this spell of wet weather will clear and we'll have a dry track for Donington on 1st August. That said, I'm going to be leaving my wet tyres on the little Aprilia until this rain stops.

  2. Went last year on the XR69 and had a blast. Messed up on CBTD dates this year, the 2 day Cadwell one being my favourite and missed it. Hope the weather hold for you, Donington is great on a modern classic.

  7. Augh... the weather forecast is still calling for rain on Friday.
    Does Donington have good adhesion in the wet?

  8. In the past, Donny could be a bit slidey in the wet due to the fine mist of aviation exhaust products constantly raining down from East Midlands Airport and coating the surface.
    Not sure what it is like now.
