M1200 S - More Relaxed Riding Position

Discussion in 'Monster' started by Billywhizzz1200s, Apr 1, 2025.

  1. I fitted some LSL medium rise tour bars to my M1200S over the winter, had to extend the brake line, take care not to rotate the bars too far back or the switches will hit the tank, I am very happy with my new relaxed riding position :) The key to this is the sweep on the bars.

  3. I will take some tomorrow :) One thing I forgot to mention if you choose to replace the brake hose like I did its a big job as the airbox needs to come off to get to the ABS unit.

  5. Hi, what parts did you use? Any links? Cheers

  6. Hi, I ordered LSL Tour Bar Medium Rise 28.6 mm diameter, the brake line was ordered from HEL + 40 mm on standard length, + 25 mm is enough though. The LSL bars need to be drilled for the location pins, I used the paper to make templates from the std bars to transfer across to drill the LSL bars. Take care when fitting/positioning otherwise the switchgear will hit the fuel tank.
