Riding Jeans - Recommendations Wanted

  1. Thanks for the recommendations. I have ordered a pair of Roadkin Taranis, the protection level, positive comments above, and online reviews were all excellent. I even managed to find a discount code that worked so came to £166 delivered. Very happy at that!

  2. I have several pairs of bike jeans I find the ones from Oxford and BGA to be the most comfortable and reassuring to wear. The Oxford ones are AAA which was removed from the line up and replaced with AA ones.
I can't testify as to their crash protection fortunately but they do give me a sense of security over my Levis

  3. Another vote for Roadskin

  4. They arrived and quality seemed excellent but despite having worn 32” inside leg for nearly 30 years, they were massively long (halfway over my foot). Tested while on bike to be sure but have had to return for 30” leg and hopefully they will be better. I guess they build in some extra for bent bike leg but too much for me. Service so far has been great though.

  5. My Roadskins are a short leg even though all my other trousers are Regular length.

  6. Will be same here. At least their customer service is excellent, sent back yesterday and already have a despatch notice for the replacement. Can’t complain at that.
