Any adventure riders on here? My interest has been peaked by the incoming Kove 800 Rally, I owned a KTM 990 adventure a few years ago, but even though it was a titan of a bike I just didn't enjoy the weight...and it is this same issue that keeps me away from the current Ducati 'Adventure/dual sport' line up. The Kove is getting some very positive reviews, and on paper the hp/weight (and price!) is super interesting...I'm going to see if it is possible to arrange a road test.

Love my Husky 701 Enduro A mate of mine Andy had one of the first standard Kove 800 X's in the UK, he liked it so much he ordered a Rally as soon as they were announced and should be getting it in the next couple of weeks. He's on Insta and put up a few bits about it, he's pretty good at answering questions too if you have any - https://www.instagram.com/bike_build_ride/ He's also built a CRF500L, described but the chap from Adventure Rider as being the best off-road adventure bike he'd ever ridden, Andy really knows his stuff and he wouldn't be buying the Kove unless it was pretty epic. It's still not as cool as my very yellow 701 though of course
Yeah, I came across Andy in his videos and his build on the Adv Rider site, as I've been doing the research for a while..that 500 build is amazing! In fact it is probably his discussion of the 800 that has pushed me to the point of saying I'll go do a test.
He should have the Rally pretty soon, I think they are in the process of registering it at the moment. Hopefully won't be too quick though, my 701 is currently sat in his garage, needed to make some space for working on the 748
