Really sad news.

Was loved at Stamford Bridge, voted player of the season in his first season, despite being sent off in his first game. Always gave 100% and would accept nothing less from his team mates. Given the wages back then, he couldn't afford to move so commutted on his own, leaving home at 5am. Did it on his own until Mickey Thomas joined us and then they commuted together, treating themselves to a London hotel on a Friday if we had a home game on Saturday.

Yeah, Ozzy, great shame but hey it’s been coming. RIP.

 

Tbf, it was coming for about 50 years….

 

Hulk Hogan of comic wrestling fame died age 71.

 

Now that is sad. He was regularly seen out and about, where we used to live in Florida.

 

RIP Ray French, dual code rugby player and Rugby League commentator for the BBC.

RIP Tom Lehrer - a mathematics teacher at Harvard and a writer and performer of wonderful satirical and comedy songs. ‘Poisoning Pigeons in the Park’ is a particular favourite of mine.

 

Or maybe we'll do in a squirrel or two.

Sad. I only recently read how he was still alive.
