What has he done wrong? How long have you got? Since recovering from almost dying recently, he's regressed to behaving like a puppy again and is VERY boisterous. He had an awesome weekend, all told, with the highlight for him being the live bands on Saturday night - not because he appreciated the music, but because he had thousands of humans to make friends with. It was funny watching him scanning the crowd trying to make eye contact with someone, and then when he did he would reel them in with his little routine. I could (and probably) should have charged people a pound a minute for petting him.
One Scrambler loaded onto the trailer, just having a coffee and then heading down to Winchester to drop the Scrambler off for service. Whilst I’m in the area, going to drop off a pair of Yamaha XVS 1100 wheels for new tubes and tyres at Micheldever. The Yam is a bit of a resto project for Carole’s eldest and the tyres are 30 years old Andy
Funny you say that, because that’s pretty much what happened. The girl in the sombrero and the guy in the bottom photo both made repeat visits and he stayed so long the second time that my mate was worried he was waiting for us to get distracted so he could dognap him.
Slight change of plan, dropped the Scrambler off at MR, left the Yam wheels at Micheldever and come home to remove the V4 Pikes Peak wheels to get the Dunlops fitted before I collect the Scrambler at 4pm. Just stopped for a pizza for lunch Andy
When I got my 750ss in 2022 it had sat a long time and the ad mentioned how good the tyres were, what they didn’t mention was the date code -1995. Amazing that some people just look at the tread and think, yeah that’s ok. They did LOOK ok to be fair and surprisingly free from cracks.
Today I fitted cruise control to my Supersport 950S. The kit is from a company called Veridiancruise in Canada, ordered on Monday delivered today. Import duty and VAT was a bit of a bitch. Right side fairing off, 3 plugs, fairing back on and sorted. It’s transformed my bike and touring will be so much better now (hopefully)
Took the battery off the RS125 ready for it's sale as part of the on going garage clearout. The RS4 50 was sold last week by my Son to an idiot from Yorkshire....... Next bike on the chopping block is the Honda CRF 125, then the SX50. Then seems likely that he'll buy a speedway bike to 'race', hoping he buys a sloper as the uprights just look wrong to me.
Finally had my carbon wheels fitted. New mobile mechanic I tried out, he couldn’t do it on my driveway, didn’t have the right socket so took it away and came back an hour or so later all done. £90 Will definitely be using him again. Pics and first ride impressions to follow.
What was the name of the company please? I could do with a decent mobile spannerer/tyre fitter sometimes.
It was an independent guy. Happy to give you his whatsapp but not on a public forum. He’s in cm21 area fyi.
