One of my favourites. Spent 14 years flying the S76 and its many variants. This one is the B model, with it's P&W PT6 engines, which somewhat overwhelmed the fuselage. This was the Dutch registered aircraft I flew offshore in Italy for 2 years on a contract for Agip. Photo taken at Ortona heliport circa 2001.

 

The Bell 212, it was great in the jungle but would have been a rubbish aircraft to fly around here.

We use these in Nigeria. These and EC 135’s. The S92’s for deepsea FSO’s.

 

..with four blade props
…and also the “B17”…four blade, totally incorrect nacelle.
