Recently fitted Ducati Corse quick throttle which I managed to get from a chap on here (Ta Darko) and it transforms the bike, really as it should have been from the factory. Was looking at throttle position values as have the normal.pants 1299 stock map 4k surging ECU messing on throttle closing even with Engine brake assist off etc etc. Thought I'd reset tps and aps and check all values and wanted to know if these looked right. Seems when engine is offtrottle buttflies won't open full? Obviously when ridding they defo do haha Seems my APS isn't registering 100% I didn't think to check stock one (I may put it back on and test.) Is this normal to just get high 90s? And how can I see full throttle angle Pics throttle.clossed and full.open on the bar
I wouldn’t worry about the apparent 7% loss of twist grip opening. You’ll never know if that’s due to the APS not fully rotating due to a physical restriction or if it’s just how the ECU sees it based upon the voltage that comes off it as you twist the grip and move the potentiometer inside. Well, you’ll not know unless you do a series of further tests. As for the TPS not indicating fully open it won’t with the engine off. What mode are you in? The selected mode affects the relationship between APS, ie rider request, and actual throttle butterfly angle. In Race or Track it should be a direct 1:1 correlation. In Wet it won’t be a 1:1 correlation but will be 1: a fraction of 1 and the speed the throttle valves open is not the same as the speed the rider twists the twist grip.
