Hi Folks, I like being up on the pegs, I cannot lie; mainly as it relieves back pain... So, when I do I feel that I could do with an extra inch or two, on the bars you dirty scoundrels, on the bars! So can any of you fine fellows point me in the direction od a decent provider for a set of risers? Cheers in advance BTD
I know you can buy Ducabike or Ducati risers to add 10-20 mm I got some of these ones in this style, but I bought cheap Chinese copy rather than pay this price. It raises the bars and brings them a little closer which I find much more comfortable on my shoulders No problem with cables or clearance but I try a larger tank bag at one point and it was too close to the bars. https://wunderlich-adventure.de/en/wunderlich-ergo-handlebar-riser-multistrada-v4-71300-001
Yeah I know! These are more like the ones I actually bought. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100...0036203676008!afff!!!&cn=254613&cv=466926&af=
They look identical to the Wunderlich. Oh, hang on, the Aliexpress seller’s pictures are the Wunderlich Andy
Funnily enough, back in the day when I didn't have such strong morals - or as much money, I bought several Chinesium farkles for my KTM 990 Adventure over the years. They looked just like the expensive European originals but were a quarter of the price; they lasted well and never let me down. Can't say fairer than that. However, now that I am older and wiser and occasionally more discerning I like to excersise my economic muscles (as atrophied as they are) and not buy stuff from China and the USA; just my little effort to boost UK and EU prosperity, especially in the light of chinese slave labour and USA's economic bully tactics, hopefully our values will overcome so I will be looking for something more "local".....Oooo, little bit of politics there! However, back in the real World there's nae feckin' danger I'm paying £179 for a pair of risers, I am after all a Scotsman and I do have my limits, as does my wallet!
I don't believe you're a tight arse Scotsmen otherwise you'd have bought two blocks of aluminium drilled some holes bought some longer bolts and be showing us how to avoid paying £179
Oooo, DIY, that never crossed my mind, but now you mention it, I''ve go a giant sized Mars Bar in the fridge!
