I had some bad news this morning at 7.30am - a very good friend of mine was killed last night whilst he was out on his bike. He'd recently traded in his Multistrada RS for the BMW. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cewydr7k795o https://www.lancs.live/news/lancashire-news/two-men-killed-horror-clayton-32224192 https://uk.news.yahoo.com/two-die-horror-crash-involving-075524427.html https://www.central.radio/news/pres...-after-two-men-die-in-clayton-le-woods-crash/ Ride safe everyone!
Edit - yep - couldnt write it....she went back in and bought one so now ive got 2, phoned B&Q and i cant cancel it for another 24 hours...so i might have to go in anyway...pff.
I'd like to add that this place does my mental health little good. People dying and Virgin Media ( the enemy of all things good!) for IT IS ALL ABOUT ME! I think that it's best for me to shut up and just wait to find out where my compensation money has gone! My solicitor says that she is just doing my bill for this! I said that I may come into a bit when we sell our company with the London properties and the offer was to give that to Chase de Vere to "look after" as well! This all started with a mad judge, together with me saying I was bored at managing money and wanted to pay for someone else to do it. Now, I have a revised opinion on this. The money will stay with me!!!
Yes, I’ll try and get the best price for the bike I’m selling, but not to the extent that I’ll double its book value overnight with no changes to it that would remotely justify that hike. I simply wouldn’t try it on like that. There was no increase in the level or quality of the service that justified that rise so I’ll respectfully disagree with you and stick by my view that they are shysters.
Customers, customers, customers, I absolutely hate them which is a problem in my job. Nit picking very minor flaws with a spot lamp after they removed all the light fittings so I struggled to see. Put me on an island void of the human race because people are cunts.
Put about 1,300 litres (18 bales & bags) down in the borders and beds whilst the chief gardener swanned off to her mates for a cream tea.
Very sorry to read this ET, condolences to the family involved and to you. Makes you wonder how it happened on a straight stretch of road. Can’t help but wonder if the pedestrians just walked out in front of him. Time will tell I guess. Very sad for all involved. Condolences.
I know the details and it's not very pleasant Latest - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4gjenk39z2o https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/25378428.three-arrested-two-die-clayton-le-woods-crash/ https://news.sky.com/story/three-arrested-after-motorcyclist-and-pedestrian-die-in-crash-13409511 https://www.lancs.live/news/lancashire-news/arrests-after-two-die-horror-32235573
Good day at the office. Fitted the Domino to the RSV4....so not only is it a better product that the OEM....obviously its a quick action throttle. It actually fits better, the throttle cables are spaced apart a bit more than the oem so rather than exiting from the top it can be turned 45deg and exit to the side meaning for the first time when on full left lock the right angled part of the throttle cable doesnt hit the fairing. And as before got the cabling just right so theres no play in the throttle. Not had the chance to test ride yet. At the same time - found that the reg/rec cabling was quite literally fried, how it got me back from the TT ive no idea. (and this is harking back to the lad with the Panigale/Engine fucked issue). I got to strip all the cabling, cut it back..its always been too long, always so i was kinda looking for an excuse to cut it back. I used a generic Honda cable from the 400/4 build to rebuild the wiring...In the meantime i might try to find the correct plugs but not worried if i cant. All in all a thoroughly satisfying day... Also fixed the central running light on the zed....by buying a new one so a five minute job on that front... Had a fucked rear nut on the sxv which had threaded so drilled that out and replaced with a Ti jobbie.
