Has anyone fitted these to a 2012 Multistrada? https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/99735 Used them on a previous bike and got in the way why when backing it up in car parks - my shins would hit them. These look like they would be out the way but can’t find any pics of the whole bike to get a better idea. Also wondering how effective they are if they ever get used as it were. Anyone used them or similar?
Yeah, i have them on my 1200S. Not really noticed them getting in the way? Plus they saved the carbon side panel when i toppled over at 2mph (stalled it in 3rd...)
Slightly strange question, but do you often push the bike backwards? Reason I ask is that I have push mine backwards up a slight slope at the bottom of my drive. On ,y last bike that was when I ended up knocking my shins on them. But would prefer something like this to full on engine bars.
They do get in the way a bit when pushing it (forward) along the gap between my car and the fence. Though not to the extent that I've considered removing them.
