So what have you done today..?

First proper concert I went to at the Lewisham Odeon. I think both have passed now.

 

Cut the hedge around the secret garden this morning, managed to fill a tonne bag . Watched a boring Moto GP. Vacuumed the car this afternoon. Hoping to get out on two wheels of some sort tomorrow.

 

Id have quaffed that within seconds but when did these grim looking things become a staple of the “full English”?

 

Hash Browns are just oil magnets - not my idea of food, let alone brekkie. BUT at £2.99 that ain’t bad value. Bacon butty aside, if I were you GG I’d have had the one with Sozzies and Black Pud

 

No idea, I ask for them to be no where near my plate.
Along with that other abomination sauteed spuds

 

I’m *spuds should be nowhere near a fry up, toast heavily buttered instead is the rule here imo.

 

Stowford cider was what I should of said. Works for me on a warm day! And arse'oles me for the rest ofr the day - well, until eight o'clock.

 

Had a bath & cut me toenails.

Scampi, chips & peas for me tea washed down with a couple of Red Stripes.

Oh! such is the excitement of a Saturday night...

 

Put me in mind of Crucial Brew. That was briefly fun.

 

Haven't seen a can of Red Stripe since the Eighties

 

Surprisingly it wasn't in a can but in one of those large 660ml bottles - so for old times sake I had to buy a couple (from the Co-op of all places).

Although I didn't recreate the full experience with a couple of Afghani buds, sherry & dark rum - too old for that sort of caper now...

 

He-he-he - I never got on too well with those 'super' lagers either. Cans of Breaker was my preferred limit.

Rode up to Compton Abbas airfield this morning with the mrs on the back for a coffee and cake and to see what Guy Richie has done with the place. Certainly injected some cash into it, expanded the cafe giving it a shabby chic industrial vibe and lots of activities in the diary. the cake was nice and the hot food looked nice even if a little pricey but then isn’t everything nowadays?

Now trying to chill in the back garden but the tranquility is rudely interrupted by the kid over the back going back and forth across his garden on his quad bike contemplating donning a balaclava and climbing over there in the night and putting some sugar in his petrol tank

 

Well fuck me - something actually worked as id actually planned it...bought a Kaoko throttle lock for the RSV4 - bought it from ebay - completely the wrong model (a versys 300x whatever that is) but, it looked to be the closest fit as none of my bars are standard.... Renthal bars, Domino Quick action throttle, Oberon bar end mirror and heated grips - so nothing is standard. The internal part was too big to fit so lopped that off with a dremmel....

Then took the internal part of the Oberon and used that to fit inside the bar....voila...

Perfect....to say im chuffed would be an understatement....as i got the throttle lock for half price off of ebay.

 

Hung out the washing, washed up, had toast for breakfast, trimmed back very lightly the hedge out the front of the house.

Just how did my life get so rock'n'roll.
