  2. hi guys why is there no spacers mentioned for 1200s dvt's, I have a tiny bit of play on my throttle thats bugged me!
would the 1260 spacers not be the same?

  3. There are three variations of the spacers that I've found which covers two main types of throttle bodies. One uses the ring style spacer (I believe this throttle body is used by most modern ducatis and triumphs) and the u bend style.

I've collected a number of stl files for the various versions and have been running through some tests. Most are a very easy and quick print with pla or even petg, but I've yet to try asa which is what they should be printed in (requires a very stable print ambient temperature for a quality print).

As for the dvt, it's the same (again, I could be wrong) as the 1260 and as such one of the three common spacers should fit.

Those that have pinged me will get some soon and I will also be hosting a tiny online shop with the parts at a much more realistic price for others looking to source some. I'm not looking to make a profit, just cover my time and resources.

  4. Sorry to resurrect this but I ordered the kit from Racetorx for my MS1260S but I,m am struggling to fit.
Please can anyone help with ,there are 2 spacers in the kit but I can only see where the smaller one fits ??
When the small spacer is located it wont relocate back into the body as its now too thick IMG_20250809_144025443.jpg IMG_20250809_144016680_HDR.jpg IMG_20250809_143947955_HDR.jpg IMG_20250809_144016680_HDR.jpg IMG_20250809_143947955_HDR.jpg

What am I doing wrong ?

  5. Both parts should be the same and you only use one of them.

  6. Thanks for confirming ,they are different sizes so that's what I thought, but it just wont go back together when the spacer is on the lug:(

  7. Only have experience of the Ducati Spacers versions. Just one in the pack, along with the security Torx bit, no problems fitting, a 5 minute job. Do you have the option to return? Odd that there were three spacers...

  8. There was 2 spacers in the kit but the kit for multiple Ducati models including mine.
I have emailed Racetorx to say it doesn't fit with images so we will see.
I think its just a poor 3d print its quite rough and it has a burr on the spacer.
I went for this version as it was recommended in this thread.

  9. Just tried fitting this to my new V4 PP and the throttle body looks different inside to the 1260. Fitted them before with no issues but these just don’t look right. IMG_1374.jpeg IMG_1373.jpeg IMG_1372.jpeg IMG_1371.jpeg IMG_1370.jpeg

  10. Looks like you have the wrong kit... Shouldn't it be this kit?

Doesn't inspire much confidence that RaceTorx list the "Multistrada V4 - 2017+" in this kit, which is what you have, didn't the V4 not come out until something like 2020/21?

  11. Now that would make sense.

  12. It is wrong, Racetorx have confirmed and sent me the right kit which I will fit at the weekend ...hopefully ,watch this space

  13. Short Peice of cable tie does the job.

  14. Each to their own but the thought of that getting displaced at a critical moment would prevent me from taking that route.

  15. Arrived and fitted ,subtle but definite improvement in initial pickup.
So all's well that ends well

  16. It can't go anywhere except stay in the gap. There's no other space for it to move into. Fitted and working for over two years and regularly checked.

  17. OK, I prefer to use something designed/made for purpose. Especially when it comes to something of this nature. Admittedly haven't heard of issues with either.

  18. Same, it makes it hard to argue the fight when so little fail when it comes to cheap knock offs. But again, I'd rather spend the extra to know I've got someone to blame if it goes wrong.
