I have a trip to Exeter and a trip to Plymouth booked in the coming weeks (well, just the hotels, ao far) and next year two trips to Spain.I won't book anything else for a bit, but may do Worcester as well later in this year or next year. 2027 at about this time of year or a bit earlier in the year for longer days, will be Scotland. I just posted something here and lost it. But not even that can't annoy me! It was about me calling my elder brother to thank him for his efforts, as we are finally, finally, at the end of the accident journey. I happened to mention all my planned trips, that mostly involve the train to Plymouth or Exeter. He said that I should get a senior railcard. I've been put off by the cost before, as it is eighty quid! Anyway, I went for it. I need to book the train to Exeter this week so we shall see if it saves much. It doesn't really save me anything as it just encourages more trips. The train to Fishguard for Ireland and then Liverpool for the Isle of Man. And that's before we get into the Scotland stuff! Anyway, it has been a long, hard, painful journey and I came very close to losing a leg so I am allowed to be happy! I wanted more money out of the winnings, but I can wait. I wanted to get Spain next year organised and now that is all done apart from the train journeys to Plymouth, I can wait.

I am determined to enjoy and be happy! I know that the investigating police officer thought it probably a fatality. I don't know as | remember nothing, but I might of written off a car with my head! I maybe a bit naive, but my solicitor and barrister were disappointed not to achieve a million quid for me! Around three-quarters of a million after the deduction of a £40,000 success fee, minus about another £100,000 to family members for their expenses, like travel, dog-boarding, and lost working to attend meetings and hospital visits. Then there was paying off my credit cards and loans and shit. The only thing that I might struggle with, is asking for the money out of my trust fund to buy a Panigale. Releasing about 20k from my trust fund to buy a new motorbike might stretch my solicitor's patience a bit too far! I can leave that one for a bit! The really sad thing is that if I asked for about £50k to buy some electric car piece-of-shit, I am reasonably confident that would get agreed! Funny old World . . . .
The senior railcard thing works really well as it integrates with the GWR app on my phone. I've bought my train tickets for Exeter and I saved ,ore than £25! I didn't bother with first class as it is only about an hour and during the day on a Wednesday, I hope it is not going to be mad busy like it was when I tried to go to Plymouth a few months ago. I have reserved a seat this time, so if the staff get pissy about letting m on, when I have a reserved a seat, that gives me a good excuse to get very pissy back! I've no idea what I will do there, but hope to get down to Exmouth one day just to see the sea!
This is from a new tablet, coz I want to fry Windows 11 sometime and this thing will allow such madness, whereas my desktop wont. First impressions of this HP tablet, together with the latest version of Windows, is that I have made a bag mistake. Android on a tablet is by far better!
Google says "River Severn" here. Fair dos: it is tidal where it says "River". What this proves is . . . . . . . And I was born in Chiswick, London and we used to walk down to the River Thames. It was tidal here, I think, and over forty miles from the sea!
