Will the clutch springs from a “standard” dry clutch (900ss, 888, 916) physically fit (inner / outer dia and length) into a “standard” wet clutch (Pantah, 750ss, 620 Monster) Alternatively, if anyone has a wet clutch spring and some verniers to hand, could you reply with the relevant measurements? I think the dry springs are significantly stiffer than the wet and that is what I need , and as I have loads of spare dry springs, wanted to check this first. Why lazy? Because it saves me a wet clutch strip (and oil/filter change while it’s apart, of course) just to find out. Thanks
My spring is from a 2012 848 Evo that had 8,000 miles. Length 500.128mm Outer Dia 20.018mm Inner Dia 15.025mm Spring Dia 2.678mm I hope this helps.
Thanks A.M.. I think your decimal point is one place to the right for the length (1/2 m long clutch spring!) but useful info- thanks. Still interested for someone else with an older wet clutch bike to add info if possible - thanks
