Saw this in the middle of Banff. Think the car is OK but I particularly like the paint job! If you look closely it actually has metal flakes in it!
There are radiators up front, so they get the airflow so it can send the hot air straight out instead of into the engine bay
Judging by the way the rear wheel is fouling the front edge of the arch, I reckon that car’s had a hefty smack on the arse at some point.
My memory wasn’t playing tricks. https://www.topgear.com/car-news/speed-week-2023/heres-how-aero-works-porsche-911-gt3-rs The RS only has one central rad and the hot air vents through the bonnet and over the roof, creating more downforce.
Been a long time since I had one (996, the one Porsche fans hated) I forgot thats a 20-30 year old car now- the oil rads at the front were a mare to keep clean and free of autumn leaves/road mess, its like the little aero it had was designed to hoover them up Porsche really do know how to build a car, the R+D and science behind the 911 is pretty amazing really - the level they take those little details too
