I'm looking at swapping the tyres on my 2024 Icon to road tyres. Choices are a bit limited due to 18" front wheel. So far I've seen: Metzeler Z8 Interact Pirelli Angel GT Dunlop Roadsmart 3 Dunlop Mutant Bridgestone T31. Anyone used any of the above on their Icon?
Just done a 2000 mile trip up to Scotland on my Icon NG fitted with the Dunlop Roadsmart 4 SP. I liked them so much, I fitted the GT version to my V4 Pikes Peak. Took everything the trip threw at it, 36°C one day, 11°C and pouring rain the next and didn’t miss a beat. The only ‘problem’, half way through the trip, I started wearing out the edges of my boots The Z8 and the Angel are good tyres, my girlfriend has had both on her 2016 Icon over time but they are a bit long in the tooth now. No experience of the Mutant or Bridgestone. Andy
