When I switch the ignition on the DVAC diagnostic warming symbol is flashing amber then goes out once the bike have started moving - just like the ABS system malfunction warning. I can't remember seeing the DVAC diagnostic warning before. Is this normal behaviour? It appears that DVAC is Ducati Adaptive Vehicle Control not that the owner's or service manual is any help. A google search comes up with: Ducati DVAC stands for Ducati Adaptive Vehicle Control, which is a system designed to optimize the motorcycle's performance and handling by adjusting various electronic controls based on riding conditions. This technology enhances the riding experience by providing better stability and control. I assume that the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) is providing inputs to DTC, DWC, ABS, Skyhook suspension, cornering lights etc. which is where the adaptive vehicle control comes in.
Not sure there was an error as it appears that the DVAC (Ducati Adaptive Vehicle Control) diagnostic warning light may come one when the ignition is first switched on and go off once the bike starts moving - the same as the ABS diagnostic warning light.
