  1. I'm with you. As I live in Belgium and understand French I have had the opportunity of watching some interviews with him. He's quite special. For example, he was practicing in a circuit in Northern Spain and was caught booking some riding slots queuing up like everybody else, no fuss, no diva attitude and he ate with the others in the cantine. A french motovlogger with quite some following, Lolo Cochet, took Zarco off-season with him on a weekend trip on some Multistradas V4s (Zarco was under contract from Ducati-Parmac at that time). It was in the middle of the winter, the streets were icy and there was snow in some parts. Zarco was travelling with his guitar... First thing Zarco did when he got on the MS was taking off all electronic aids and there's some footing showing him riding that heavy motorcycle supermoto style, sliding into corners in those conditions. He cooked pasta for the team and played guitar and sang, quite a likeable bloke.
But you're obviously right, never mind whether he's a nice guy or not, that's not the point. He's a very good and highly analytical rider. The other day I watched an episode of "Inside Lenovo Ducati", it was during the Brno Grand Prix, it was often raining and several times Marc Márquez would ask "what is Zarco's tire choice", that says a lot when the best rider in the circuit looks to another rider when the conditions are such that the rider makes more of a difference than the machine.

  2. Great stuff :upyeah:
Didn’t he ride to one of the GP’s with his guitar last season too? Sure I remember comms mentioning it.
A “proper character” and glad he’ll be with us for the foreseeable.

  4. 17th in the standings on the grand sum of 52 points, six points behind Ogura the rookie (who’s basically gone after everyone was raving about him after two rounds) and a win/25 points ahead of Martin who’s missed 95% + of the season.

Lend us your passport pls Jack, I fancy a go :joy:

  5. Oh and just to add Ogura missed two rounds too!!!!
