Packed for a week at my brother's place in the south of France. Nearly managed to wangle going on the bike, but we're taking my parents with us, so I'm on driving duties.
The usual today avoiding someone cutting in front of me on a roundabout, luckily i was in my van. Please tell me that they're not teaching drivers different rules about what lane you supposed to be in these days compared to the older generation drivers.?
I fucking love my z1ooo - best bike ive ever owned for loads of different reasons....the amount of stuff fitted to it from other bikes increases again QS from a zx10, tailpipe from an RSV4, Renthal fat bars from a KTM and now a throttle lock from an MT09 - fitted perfectly....well chuffed... morseo as when i told the guy at Kaoko he said.... "no chance of getting anything to fit that!"

Well what a shit month it's been for me after my bike accident, still got a broken wrist and it's my son's 21st birthday. Being an outdoor kinda son he wanted to do manly stuff with me like go karting, rock climbing, sea surfing, and stuff that i can't do with my injury at the moment. so instead we are heading to Santa Pod euro finals at the weekend to enjoy that instead. I promised him once i am able again that some more strenuous activity will pursue.
Not a great one ( just took it ) not much space in the garage... Apologies for the chicken strips...i put winter tyres on, during the winter of course, put these on at the start of the summer to get out on it but, have literally gone to work on it (2 miles to the office ) 20 - 30mph limit through town so not really been anywhere (ive been mostly enjoying the sxv as its a new toy )
does make you wonder. When around 12 years old i can remember Police shouting at people cycling on the footpath, now they don't bat an eyelid probably because they know it's the safest compromise. Nearly got taken out this week.. (no not on a date)
