I’m in the market for a mint 996s or 998s It will be used on the odd sunny day, but to be totally honest it will be mostly a beautiful ornament for me to enjoy Can you good people take a look at & offer opinions on this example at Fastline … https://www.fastline.co.uk/used-ducati-996-s-preston-lancashire-7067371
it would have to be 0 miles to command a price like that for me - I've got one that's got 10,000 miles on it and I'd be lucky to get half that.
Touching SPS money in that region. Fastlines bikes are always well presented, but I'd suggest that should sit around the 10k mark, and even at that it wouldnt go quick - in my humble opinion
IMO, the way the current market is, the asking price is very high. It may or may not be a genuine monoposta as some genuine monopostas have had the biposta subframe fitted out of the factory. I’d err on the side of caution and assume it’s a conversion. I’m not sure the carbon chain guard is DP, the fixing method looks odd compared to my (now gone) 2001 748R. Some huggers tend not to survive many miles if the rear tyre clearance is too small. This looks better value maybe. Andy
Here it is: Mint in all material respects, guaranteed 0 mile example and reasonably priced at Euro 4,5k. Some import duties will apply as it is to be found in Germany but its the only example of the Tamburini range truly capable of serving as an ornament!!
