  2. I’m liking the new release of ye olde XT500 if it actually happens. Which seems unlikely.

  3. If it has all the styling but none of the starting of it's grandad it would be great too!

edit: I’ve just had another look at the 700 and I’ve changed my mind it still looks pretty good :joy:

  9. The 700 version has the Yamaha Tenere twin engine. The 500 was originally launched with an engine from India, which a friend of mine has, and it’s an excellent, lightweight machine. The later versions swapped to an Italian engine, (possibly by Piaggio?) and they too have had excellent reviews.

  10. Other half went for an interview at a local window/glazing place....apparently the bloke that interviewed her said the last time they advertised 2 positions there were over 600 applicants in just under 4 hours...id guess its literally a matter of weeks now before the economy completely collapses...

  11. I always like that - being in a shed or garage with the door open and seeing heavy rain through the open door & hear it on the roof. But your warm, dry & content bimbling about doing shed or garage type bimbling stuff.

  18. 100 mile bimble around Warwickshire and the outskirts of the corwolds. First cafe was closed, second was holding a private coffee morning so ended up at the Piston Club for a bostin bacon and egg sarnie.
Rode past Caffeine and Machine but having been there before and being full of posers then, also the food was pricey I gave it a miss.

  19. First rain of our trip and it's got heavier as the day has gone on.
A couple of coffee stops and lunch in a nice little cafe to keep out of the rain.
Now at a large campsite holed up in the van eating biscuits being told not to spoil dinner ! I'm 51 , not 9 . Not many pics today.
