I'm touring with friends who have GSs (yes I know) and one has a nice aluminum plate/rack mounted instead of the pillion seat giving a dedicated platform to carry heavier stuff like bike locks and crap you need but don't want taking up space in the carriers. I searched but could not see anything similar for my V4 Rally - anyone seen something like this? Thanks, Peter
I bought another rear seat off eBay and fitted these, https://kriega.com/sports/touring/scrambler-fitkit, to the plastic seat plate using a 6mm rivet nut, https://www.normandyfasteners.co.uk/product/reduced-csk-head-knurled-body-metric-hole/, which gives the flexibility to fit a Kriega Dry Pack. I use the Kreiga bags as well - strapped to pillion seat and subrame carrier. I originally bought one of these racks for my 2021 V4S but sold it as didn’t get used. I recently bought the same again for my 2025 PP for a week long trip to France this Friday. I then had to return it as it doesn’t fit 2025 Multi V4/PP models.
