  1. Caught most of it although I had a big dinner and fell akip before the final like an old man :sob:

  2. Looking forward to this :upyeah:

  3. First round in Germany tonight. They just had some German opera singer singing the national anthem and the cameras panned to a guy in a Union Jack suit stood in silence not flipping the bird or doing something embarrassing.

    BZ looks un stoppable already.

  7. Not watched as much as I’d like to have done this season and I’m still switching between this and the WRC but the Aussie kid looks an incredible talent

  8. Tai wanking the trophy off as he presented it at the start will have gone down well with the broadcasters too lol

  9. Great end to the night. Especially the final. Probably the best race of the whole evening.

Lambert qualifying for next year and a podium for Danny Bewley too.

  10. Worlds on tonight in an hour or so from Denmark.

Watched the Ipswich witches beat the Aces…Dan Bewley/Brady Kurtz et al last night. Been a decent season on the uk front .

It does clash with the WRC in Chile so let’s see how we get on.

  11. Get yourself up here and work your way up to a 500, my Son did it and is looking for a speedway bike to ride.

It's a great unappreciated spectacle IMO.

  12. If my interest in moto gp continues to wane as it has I’ll certainly be looking for some form of replacement next season :upyeah:

  13. Second leg of the second semi on tonight. Watched the first leg and the Leicester lions did an unreal job to claw it back to a few points going into tonight. Really enjoyable.
Moneys still on the Sheffield mob later though.

  14. We are heading up there tonight to watch. I am an occasional watcher and don't really have any team affiliation, but I guess we'll be cheering on the Lions as the 'local team'. Really going to get close to the spectacle .

  15. Superb :upyeah:

  16. You have to doff your cap to the Doris on comms who can’t pronounce her R’s when she has to spend the whole evening doing exactly that.

    Gwand pwee
    Wound thwee
    The widers

    Etc…

  17. What a brilliant evenings racing, certainly not for the feint hearted and coming down to the 30th heat across the two legs too (including a restart lol).
Looked a decent sized crowd as well.
Well done the lions, looking forward to the final in a couple of weeks :upyeah:

  18. It would have been an easier win for the Lions. In about heat 12? they had a a comfortable 1-2, when going into the last lap the second place rider inexplicably dropped it and bounced into the air wall crash barrier. Luckily walked away not seriously hurt. I only found out the next day that his chain snapped, which explained why he wasn't able to make the turn and presumably laid the bike down.
As it was went right down to the wire in heat 15. Not sure why they deemed the last heat an "inappropriate start" either.

Shame that I'm getting off the boat at Portsmouth on Monday 10th or I'd go along to the final.
