Finding my standard seat a little uncomfortable, if I purchase the high heated comfort seat is it just plug & play and what button activates it on/off the same one as the grips ? Thanks.
Dealer enabled I believe. No experience myself but I have seen a couple of posts that say the gel pad the heating element is sealed in, makes the seat marginally more comfortable. I bought a second hand seat off here and had it reupholstered. Andy
doesn't feel any different to me comfort wise (but mine is same standard height). operated via menu on left hand bars
I've got the high heated, and do feel it is more comfortable, I use it in the position, same height as the standard in it's highest position, looks smart with the stitched emblem
Thanks guys , bike is in for annual 1st service tomorrow at JHP so will confirm costs to activate with them.
Rider heated seat is controlled via menu using joystick. Pillion heated seat has its own switch on the seat.
Heated comfort seat on its way thanks to a forum member JHP confirmed will activate foc when in for other work .....
Hi Melvin , I had already purchased a seat when you had offered yours, it has arrived and the connectors won't, er, connect, as they are a different type . The seat I purchased I beleive is from a grand tour and my bike is an Essential model which didn't come with any heated options but thought they'd be the same as both 2024 models, from the image can you advise if your connector ( red one ) is the same or different ?
I went with the route of OEM heated seat, then reupholstered for better comfort. On my seat, the element ended up nested a bit deeper in the foam, it still provides heat, just takes longer to kick in. Not sure how much better or worse it is this way comfort wise, as I got no direct comparison. Outside of the time delay, I got both heat and comfort.
