afternoon all. after being away from Ducati for 11 years (1098s) I've just paid a deposit for this, i pick it up on Friday. i cant wait but I've just noticed the engine is silver and not black like all the others I've looked at. should i be concerned?
Nice. Engine is correct colour. They usually have plastic covers over the cylinder housings, they have been removed which some folk do, personal preference Enjoy

Welcome, looks good, I’ve not seen the clear clutch over on a 899 before! Looks like it’s had the engine side cover off a 1199 fitted (which is magnesium) then a clear clutch cover fitted, again no issue as such but quite a commitment from the previous owner. I’ve had 2x 899’s, a v2 and currently have a 959 so I always lean towards the smaller Panigales
Welcome - Looks the nuts mate, esp with gold wheels & Termis I had a 959 but kinda wish I’d had the 899, I think it’s better looking. Maybe one day if I ever tire of my 1098S
