Hi, I feel the need to raise the handlebars, preferably with a unit that pulls the bar back also. I've seen a unit from Toutech at £85: https://www.motea.uk/catalog/produc...a-1260-enduro-40mm-tourtecs-silver-a217054-0/ Can anyone recommend anything else, is there an official Ducati accessory for this ? Cheers
I got a very similar pair on Aliexpress, probably made in the same factory as these on my V4. I don’t have a link I’m afraid but there always another post about these
I find them ok with the small Ducati urban tank bag but you are correct that it might be an issue with a larger bag. If you don’t want to bring the bars nearer to you there are a few simple risers 20mm and 30mm you can get for the 1260. These are ok with a larger tank bag https://www.cncracing.com/en/product/bar-adaptor-spacers-h-30mm-ducati-multistrada-95012001260.html
Have you tried twisting the bars a couple of degrees away from you? It should make them a little flatter and may give you the result you're looking for without actually moving the bars physically towards you. It's critical to understand bar geometry as the smallest of changes can make a huge difference.
I find the stock ratio between bars to footpegs too compact or compressed. I feel like my hands are right over the footpegs. I'm 6' 1" or 185cm. To bring the bars back even further would seem to bring you to a 90 degree angle. I prefer more of an attack position, whereas I am leaning into the wind and crouched just a bit. As it stands, with too much speed, I feel like I can be blown over, and that's def not what I want.
