Took the 848 out this morning, and on coming to a set of lights the revs weren't dropping to their normal level (just over 1000rpm) and wouldn't fall below 2000 when in nuetral. Was riding for about 5 minutes before the higher revs kicked in. When pulling off it was the same, through all the gears the bike had far too many revs. Any ideas what this could be from? I had the same issue with a 696 a while back, but it happened only about twice in a year. Either way, would be nice to sort it out. Thanks
The idle is controlled by a motorised stepper valve on the throttle bodies. Could be a fault with this.
