You’ll be as right as rain soon enough. Give the antibiotics time to kick in and all this will be behind you.
I had Radiofrequency Controlled Thermal Destruction of my Peripheral ilioinguinal & iliohypogastric nerves. Hopefully I will now be able to get on and off my bike easier and ride for longer. Whilst it was rather unpleasant I am doing ok and cannot help feeling I am better off than Zhed46 who I send my best wishes to.
Hope so. Another thing, is that Iggy has the extremely endearing habit of coming over and nuzzling my face if he ever sees me doing this. However, while that’s very touching and comforting if I’m feeling stressed or tired, it’s far from ideal when the slightest touch feels like someone is driving a spike into my sinuses.
AFAIK 112/74 is pretty good. Therapy -no idea. Dog puke on the rug, not so good. You will get there El T. It will be Halloween soon, and maybe Doris will wear that outfit again?
Never heard of those nerves, and the only controlled thermal destruction I've personally used was a bonfire but glad its working for you!
Feeling a lot better this morning. I felt horrendous yesterday evening and went to bed at c.9pm with a hot water bottle clamped to my face, which after a while sprung a leak (FFS/FML), but not before the heat seemed to trigger the drainage of my sinuses (which were being blocked by the swelling and much more painful than the abscess itself). My teeth and upper jaw are still aching and the right side of my face is still swollen, but thankfuckfully I’m no longer in agony and I’m no longer feeling feverish either.
Exactly, and keep the fluid & food intake up. Hot water, lemon & honey. Chicken noodle soup can also work wonders.
Trip down to Ducati Alton today for Jason to do a couple of bits on the bike. There was a Panigale V4 Speciale down there at the same time. Had a chat with the guy who owned it, lovely bloke. He also has a KTM 690 SMC R (which I’m on the lookout for) so was good talk about. He has a few bikes but said if he could only own one it would be that KTM. Also met another lovely bloke who owned a 916. He’s owned it from new and it’s almost 28 years old. Pretty much stock. Was great to see that as well. From there a quick ride down to Caffine & Machine for a bit of lunch before riding back Henley way. A good day!
Celebrating a landmark birthday with brunch at The Ivy, Liverpool, followed by a walk down to Albert Dock to see and tour the visiting Spanish galleon ‘Andalucia’.
I wish my only experience of thermal destruction was a bonfire! Initial signs are encouraging so fingers crossed I can get my leg over again!
If you ever need your leg sawing off, to spare you the trouble of doing it yourself I will volunteer to come and saw it for you. As a special personal favour.
Nobody is asking for my id which is good but sick of Plymouth. And sick of taking trains. Well, more accurately, cross Country. GWR are slightly better, but the bar is set very low! I can't drive here and leave my car in the hotel underground car park whilst I am in Spain, so I'll have to take the train here next year and just put up with it. Tough luck to me for trying be clever. One more small break planned in a few weeks and that's me for the year. Hopefully, no trains or taxis involved with it. Possibly do the Morgan museum. I'd buy one if a) I could get insurance and b) if I could get in and out of one. UPDATE Just did a TEAMS meeting with my solicitor/trustee. Whilst I can have the money to buy out my cousin in Florida, to make life easier for my brother, the company secretary, it is as all not as easy as I originally thought for getting the other money. Lots of thought has gone into things, of which, I have contributed nothing. The money is in pots to accommodate possible future needs. I don't think that it is lost on people that I do not plan ahead! It is a bit out of focus, but no prizes for guessing what this is and where it was used! Sorry, that was my pudding! After my Sunday lunch! Here it is!!!
Not much today It’s St Stephen’s Day in Hvar with celebrations being held in town, might wander in…. on the other hand..
