  1. Well, the "fightin SXV" put up its usual fight tonight.... rear tyre change after running over a bit of a stanley knife blade (tyre had 2 hundred miles on it) pff...pisses me off even to type that out....anyway after getting one side of the tyre off and then having to use the dremmel to cut the other bead finally it gave up but not without taking a tiny chip out of the newly coated wheel....and getting to the question....

I need a small pot of touch up paint (its no more than a couple of mil square) ive used a sharpie before but that really does just was away...i need some paint thats quite thick and sticky kinda like the old Humbrol/airfix paints i guess..?

Anyone throw 2 cents my way...or even if theres an alternative that i dont know about...which'd be great..!

  3. Thats fine - i literally need a little dab of it....ill get one on order....in fact ive got a few chips off of the Hyper frame....have you used a red on there atall?

  4. I thought one of the humbrol enamel was a good match (red)...for the wheel I've used the humbrol black..came out really good.

  5. Last I used One Shot it contained a hell of a lot of Lead, covers and flows out well though .

  6. I've only used white to add pin striping to the Darmah tank - I'm nowhere near good enough to do it free hand so used pin stripe masking tape. It was applied on top of the clear lacquer and has shown no sign of peeling off.

  7. Lovely - ill get one on order...oh did you use any red atall - i need some for the hyper frame...down by the swing arm point...again just a couple of dabs....

  8. Not red, I did try gold but it wasn't a good match. It does require real thorough stirring to obtain the best colour and ease of application.

  9. Righty....ive got a few options now but might go with the posh option...!
