Beware Southampton Ducati Owners

  1. Well, good news on the recovery front but obviously not so good on the condition.

Best of luck with whatever you/insurance decide.

  2. Great it was recovered and the scum arrested, but such a shame it's so badly damaged.

Do you use any additional security like a disc lock?
    was that removed easily?

Was it parked in the bike parking area on the road that goes between West Quay and the Multi-story car park?
I was all set to use my 1260 Multi to go to the Southampton Boat show this year, and would have parked there, but decided at the last minute to go by car as my Shoulder was still strapped up from surgery and driving an Auto car one handed is a lot easier than riding a bike in such a state.

  3. Total bike thieving scum, pleased they were spotted/stopped but sorry you have the damage to deal with... Can't say what really think of them as I am sure I'd get banned for bad language!

  4. That’s exactly where it was, according to the Police it’s a CCTV blind spot as well.
They think it was heaved into the back of a transit by three or four blokes and gone in under a minute then kicked to pieces at their leisure in some remote location.
Form seems to be battery angle grinder for any locks securing to the railings
Basically, if they want it they’ll have it.

  5. Those fkn battery grinder/disc cutters. Absolute game changer for these cvnts…
