  1. Subtle but cheap mod today, changed to the black tinted reservoirs from a later model. Looks better IMO .............

  3. That looks mint. I've been and ordered one, but having second thoughts now as just started thinking the full termi system will void my insurance. Any tips on insurers? Do you declare it? Thanks

  4. If it says 'Race Only' or 'Not for highway use' or something similar it's going to your choice to declare it to an insurer. Some might be ok with it, some might refuse cover. I hate to bring the voice of doom, but if you damage it/yourself you don't want to give an insurer any chance of wriggling out of paying up. Just sayin'...

  6. Yep my thoughts exactly. It doesn't say 'race only' in the description on the Ducati store page, but it does say it on the configurator. Just wondered if anyone had any experience of this, or tips

The other thing that got me thinking was that the pipe/up map gets linked to the vin but not sure if they go to those lengths in the event of a claim

  7. There are loads of this sort of thread (exhaust/insurance) on here, however most of them have differing conclusions. Try a search & you'll hopefully get something useful...

  11. A couple of weekends ago, due to a favourable weather forecast for the Sunday I made the call on the Saturday to drag it out of its shed hibernation to go for a ride. Come Sunday morning the forecast forgot to mention it was going to be blowing a gale so it did not happen :triumph: Since then the weather has reverted back to cold and raining so HYPED has spent its time as a kitchen window ornament :pensive: 20250915_050558774_iOS.jpg

  14. Picked this one up today, a 2020 SP. Had a 1100 Evo SP before, but this one was fun stuff

  16. Here's my combo The best of both worlds, for me

The Pikes Peak is an incredibly competent touring bike.
Comfortable yet fast and agile. The Hyper SP is an equally fantastic bike on twisty roads.
It's so easy to ride, and cornering with it is a breeze.

    I love them both
