I thought it was mostly garbage, and was gobsmacked when the guy reckoned they sell 300 bikes a month.
The first time all year i got to go out with a few friends (apart from the TT) - so spent the afternoon tearing around the Wiltshire countryside. My old RSV4 really comes into its own when being caned....suspension is sublime at highspeed (Nix30 front TTX mk2 Rear) - knackered by the time i got home.
Not today but the last few days. Ubeda was too far. The last stretch I was really tired. I’ll have to check the Km but when you’re tired it’s no fun. The road along the south side of the Sierra’s and over to Guadix was absolutely fantastic. I’ll do it again. So shorter days. We left Ubeda and went through a couple of hundred Kilometres of nothing but Olive Groves. Spain being the world’s top producer of olive oil. It was amazing, as afar as you could see, olive trees and it went on pretty much all day. Had lunch at Zuheros, which had fantastic views. Then on up to Cordoba to meet Bro6 and his mate. They’d ridden down from Santander. Hilarious night out and back in the saddle in the morning. From Cordoba there’s a boring stretch so we decided to cross it as fast as we could on motorway. After Osuna it got good again. We peeled off and had lunch in Zahara de la Frontera and then back to do the famous Ronda road. Heaven! In contrast the coast road to Estapona is awful but it had to be done. A seriously vindictive Policeman decided to give us all parking tickets despite the fact that my/our bikes were on the road when he issued them. Small man complex. I’m seriously thinking of filing a complaint. Next day, back to the Ronda road, then El Burgo for a Coffee and back to our starting point. It was a big few days and we didn’t even get out of Andalusia. Which was a deliberate decision because there was rain further north. Flooding around Valencia again apparently. Next up Italy via France but that’s a very different story then Morocco. Morocco being the reason we’re assembling all the bikes down near Malaga so we can catch the ferry from Tarifa to Tangier. Should be interesting! View from the beautiful white village of Zuheros. Coffee stop at Villanueva de la Reina on the first day. Small man syndrome. I wouldn’t mind so much but the ticket stated 19.30 and there he was at 19.33 writing the ticket. Note the bike is on the road. Gratuitous shot of the Multi because I’m very pleased with it. Ideal for the Morocco jolly as opposed to the Monster.
I think the policeman should be more concerned with the street light, which looks like its about to slip off its base.
This morning I have mostly been dealing with bots wanting to join the forum. It's amazing how persistent Harry Kane and Floyd Mayweather are in trying to join our illustrious group I have also booked tickets this morning to go and see the DMA's in Newcastle in February. And this afternoon I have my first proper Cardiac Rehabilitation fitness class courtesy of the NHS
Me and Mrs Visor have spent the day at Sweet Lamb Off Road Adventures in Wales doing an off road skills day. A fantastic day with excellent instruction, loads learnt and a great time was had throughout the day. No pics as was too busy getting the mick taken by the two instructors, Moly and Colin.
