  1. Hi, newbie question, help needed please. 750ss 1993, okd throttle cable snapped, new cable bought, tried to fit today, my god what a faff, any advice. Can't see where the top 'close' cable should go, no nipple hole? Open cable I managed to fit without removing the airbox. Any advice welcome, thanks.

  3. Managed to replace both cables, it isxa proper faff, considering I wasvonbthe side of the road and with limited tool kit, I'm super happy. Had to remove the airbox, practically impossible to do both cables without removing it as the top close nipple would not be accessible. Anyway, all done and off we go again.

  4. well done, for the record, it is possible without removing the airbox but it does require some thought. Memory rusty, but I think I put a "curl" In the cable right next to the nipple, and also rotated and jammed the throttle wide open to aid access.

  5. I haven't done one for a long time but I remember that jamming the throttle wise open was a definite necessity.
