  1. Looks like they’re moving the main race to Saturday again due to weather conditions forecast for Sunday.

Bez hit with a double long lap penalty for his coming together with 93 two weeks ago. Seems a bit harsh to me but I suspect it’s more to do with who the “victim” was not the crime itself.

  2. Putting aside your cynicism for a sec, if you watch it Bez rode into that corner like a dick.

It may have been a genuine mistake but it was his mistake and that caused a pretty tasty crash in which other riders were lucky not to get caught up.

I’m pretty sure he’d have got the same penalty if it had been any other rider(s).

  3. 93 only got a single long lap penalty when he made pretty much the same mistake in Indonesia (sprint race) and ran Alex Rins off the track ending his race.

He even said after the race he "couldnt stop his bike" - almost word for word Bez's explanation.

Not trying to be cynical but would be interested to hear the difference explained.

  4. …add in that MM did a bit of a double bite at the corner entry, rewatch if you dont believe me.
Meh, Marquez though, rules have never been applied equally when he is involved.
By all means, one long lap, 2 is taking the piss.

One benefit (I hope anyway) we should not need to listen to the motogp.com commentators verbally wanking off over MM, or the camera man ignoring the rest of the field crossing the finish line! It wont unfortunately stop them name checking twenty times during the race. Ffs, prenez un grip, there are other racers on the grid.

  5. I don’t want to make you fume even more ;) but 93 got his penalty during the race when it made no difference when he took it.
Bez may as well have stayed at home this weekend.

  6. And for the balance of fair play it’s always happened, multiple world champions get a pass on “racing incidents”.

  7. I won’t fume. ;)

Agree MM93 should have had the same penalty. There needs to be consistency.

  8. Bez flying, hope he gets so far out front, that he can do his two long laps and still finish first!

…and the look on the faces in the Ducati Lenovo garage. Not happy…

  9. Long lap loop is at Honda I think, slowest corner on the track….. would be good to know how much time it adds.

  10. Bez has had a few practice runs on it so I reckon he and Aprilia have a good idea.

At the pace he’s showing he may well be able to create a buffer.

  11. I take it we’re all in on Bez this weekend then haha (would be nice if miller managed to get a podium somehow too)

  12. I fear you may be proved wrong and he'll be mentioned at every opportunity.

  13. M Pirro under instruction not to pass Peco.
It’s like watching a horror movie. WTactualF is going on?

  14. Oh Pecco. 2 seconds ahead of Pirro and likely to finish behind him tomorrow with that grid penalty.

What more can you say apart from it was a bad day at the office for most ducati riders.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him take a sabbatical next year though.

Shame miller got pipped by Pedro for third but pleased Bez won after all the nonsense and noise from that last couple of rounds.
    Raul for the win tomorrow?

  15. Franky took his bike back

  16. I wonder if we will see an early exit from Lenovo, and racing, for Baggy? Not the first rider to completely lose it at Ducati….

  17. No rides left for next season now but a shit load at the end of next year, may be worth taking a breather at this point. He's clearly not done/finished as he proved in Japan.
I guess Valencia test will be the do or die moment.
