Hello everyone, I am currently riding a 2014 Hypermotard 821 and I am encountering two problems that I want to find out the cause and how to solve. I perform your advanced help evaluation: 1. The solution kit of my bike has problems when going to low gears — sometimes the gear lever gets stuck and it feels like the clutch is not completely free. I heard that the previous owner may have replaced the clutch plates with a friendly material or maybe another reason that caused the numerical difficulties. 2. A few months ago, my bikes black box (ECU) was broken, so I replaced it with a cartridge from the Hypermotard 821 SP — with many different driving modes and 3/2 ABS levels. Since then, my bike has continuously shown DTC and ABS coding errors.
Hi there. 1. You need to take the clutch pack and out measure the thickness that is critical. 2. Also the arrangement of the plates has to be correct. ECU: definately plug it into an ODB unit see what errors come up.
