Put simply if Toprak wins race one tomorrow he wins title number 3. If Bulega wins and Topraks second it goes to Sunday. FP1 on now.
A very good day in the office for NB11 barring riding almost a whole lap with what looked like fluid pissing out of his bike.
Bulega takes it to the final day of the season. Not the greatest race but he didn't need it to be and thankfully no more bike gremlins.
Fantastic Supersport 300 race if you get the chance to watch it back. Ultimately leaves three riders within 2 points of each other going into tomorrows final race of the season
Emotions high for obvious reasons, but for me long lap penalty was appropriate. Any other time during the season it wouldn’t have raised an eyebrow. Having said that, I still want to see Toprak take it.
Bit of a dull race but rather that than stupid controversy although im pretty sure Haines and Toseland were trying to cry something like that in for most if it. There seemed to be a lot of grown men in tears in parc ferme Toseland thanking Alvaro for his service, Shakey crying, then Alvaro going off on one, i thought he was going to bring up the minimum weight rule at one point. Feel for Bulega - 600 plus points 30 odd podiums and 14 wins and he comes second. Not much more to say about Toprak though is there, up there with the WSB greats now and with two different manufacturers puts him a gnats kneecap ahead of Bayliss in the riders with three or more world titles imo. Remember everyone saying he was cursed cos he took the number one plate and he was struggling at the start of the season too.
