  6. Yes, and water / toilet, heating of some sort, ( reversable Aircon most likely as it de humidifies)

  9. Once you have worked out your batten spacings and set your first few slates out ,i would imagine you will thoroughly enjoy the process .

  13. Yep, it’s all about the batten spacing and those first two rows, but then it’s plain sailing if not a little tedious.

    However very satisfying once it’s finished if your diy’ing.

  14. Looks great, proper slate does look lovely. Rather more expensive and a little harder to work with but worth it :upyeah:

    And you don’t have hips to cut which is a massive bonus, the four hips took me ages because of all the cuts, I’d have liked gable ends but the planners weren’t happy and it would have blocked more light.

  16. Yep, doors far stronger than I'd thought, main problem is people cutting through the wall cladding so plan to put chicken wire on the inside to deter or slow down sawing and cameras
